Eric Dennis

As a native of Cleveland, Ohio, Eric Dennis has come from a long line of competitive swimmers. He followed in his father and three sister’s footsteps. Growing up Eric swam for the USA team Lake Erie Silver Dolphins, St. Edward High School, and Cleveland State University. As a swimmer Eric was a 3-time Zone Qualifier, a 2-time Junior National Qualifier, and a 2-time High School State Qualifier. Swimming has been his passion for the past 18 years.

Eric started his coaching career at Colombia Hills Country Club. As head coach of North Olmsted High School Swimming and Diving for the past 3 years, Eric has trained many district qualifiers. This past year 2 school records were broken, the first since 1994. While coaching North Olmsted High, Eric was employed at the Five Seasons Country Club as Aquatics Director. There he formed a USA swim Team, Coached the Summer League Gator Swim Team and was the facilitator of the Swim Lesson Program in addition to other duties.

Arnold Colvin III

Arnie started swimming at the age of 9. He began his coaching career at the age of 16. He was a district qualifier three years in a row while swimming at St. Edward High School. He has coached age group swimmers up to Masters. He started coaching recreational swimming at Brooklyn Recreation Center. He continued coaching recreation at Five Seasons Country Club. He then became a USA certified coach at PEAK Performance Center as well as a Masters Coach. As well as coaching NEON he is the Assistant Coach at North Olmsted High School. He will be graduating in May, 2008 with his degree in Chemistry.

Chad Bartko

Chad is a native of North Olmsted. He started swimming at the age of 6 on the North Olmsted Recreation Swim Team. He has been a member of the Cleveland Aquatics Team, Lake Shore Swim Club and Case Western Reserve University Swim Team. He has been teaching swim lessons at the North Olmsted Recreation Center since the age of 14 as well as coaching the recreation team at Brookpark. He currently is the Head Coach for the North Olmsted Recreation Swim Team and Assistant Coach at North Olmsted High School.
